Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Association Host Annual Fall National College Media Convention
College media’s best and brightest gather in Louisville to learn from industry experts
Associated Collegiate Press and College Media Association will host the Fall National College Media Convention at the Galt House in Louisville from Oct. 25-28, 2018. College students and advisers seeking advice and tips about student-produced media are invited to attend. The multi-day convention will include networking opportunities, informative panel discussions, hands-on tutorials, and access to media professionals.
The event will cover all aspects of college media, from rapidly changing multimedia platforms to newspaper, broadcast, yearbook and magazine journalism. Students will also benefit from career-focused sessions with guidance on life after graduation. Advisers will be offered special programming focused on their specific challenges.
There will be more than 275 sessions at the event. Other highlights of the event include ACP and CMA’s exclusive awards programs, critiques for college media publications, and a film festival competition.
