The fall 2023 convention will offer hundreds of breakout sessions and newsworthy keynote speakers. And we’re planning an innovation for Atlanta — the Media Zone.

We’re taking advantage of this fall’s convention space to offer a showcase of all things collegiate media. Students and advisers are invited to exhibit their work and skill in the Media Zone, a large display and networking area available throughout the convention.

The Media Zone will offer two components —

We Are College Media. You know how everyone loves the table with newspapers from everywhere? We’re expanding that opportunity. Show off any or all of your favorite publications, pages, products, newsletters, media kits and more. Share photos of your staff. Student-produced exhibits are welcome, and no submission form required. Just bring some printed pages to display on a trifold. It’s an excellent networking opportunity.

All Media Zone exhibits can be trifolds or other tabletop displays up to 3 feet square, and, to make it easier, you can order trifolds on the convention registration form and assemble them on site. Be sure to include QR codes that link us to your work. Details on the trifolds you can order from us:

• 3 feet high.
• Center panels are 2 feet wide.
• Side panels are 1 foot wide.
• Bring your printed material, a glue stick, tape, etc.

College Media Knowledge. This is the portion of the Media Zone offers tips, tricks and ideas from convention speakers. 

So take a ton of screenshots and make notes on people you want to talk with. Maybe they’ll be right next to you taking screenshots.
