Thanks to the partnership with SPJ, CMA and ACP, this fall convention offers a special career-networking event.

During our Career Corner, on Friday and Saturday afternoons, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the exhibit hall, you can meet informally with professionals who will volunteer to offer your career advice, guidance and support.

The event is informal, but you should prepare your résumé and portfolio to share with an SPJ volunteer. You can talk about internships and jobs and get career advice.

Sign up was first come, first served, and all 40 slots are now full.

Students will receive their assigned times by email in the coming week.

The shared convention with SPJ may also present other informal opportunities to meet and network with journalists from across the nation. You’ll want to take advantage of the those opportunities as well.
