Convention update

Sept. 13, 2021

The Fall National College Media Convention is going virtual.

College Media Association and Associated Collegiate Press have reached a deal in principle with the Sheraton New Orleans to rebook on future dates. As a result, this year’s convention will be online using the Pathable platform, the same one used for conventions in fall 2020 and spring 2021.

The two organizations will have more information to share once a final agreement is reached. In the meantime, please note that if you have already registered for the convention, you don’t need to do anything. Your registration will automatically transfer to the virtual event.

This change is a direct result of the feedback CMA and ACP members provided in a recent survey. A large majority of college media outlets said they could not attend the convention in person. Thank you for making your voice heard. It made a difference. You can find the results of the survey here.

Thanks and hope to see you virtually Oct. 14-16.
